Dear Presidents and Directors of Training!
The Candidates’ Seminar provides a unique international exchange between candidates from across Europe, East and West.
The EPF continues to support the Candidates’ Seminar for the year 2025 as an opportunity for candidates from all over Europe to meet and work together. This seminar is aimed at candidates from EPF member societies and candidates from the former EPI (European Psychoanalytic Institute).
Our theme will be “How to become an analyst, how to become a colleague?”. The meeting will be chaired by Renate M. Kohlheimer (EPF Vice-President).
Moderators will be: Christine Franckx (Belgian Society), Ewa Glod (Polish Society), Gabor Szönyi (Hungarian Society), Christoph Walker (German Society).
The seminar will start on Thursday evening with a welcome drink, a general introduction and will run until Sunday noon.
On Friday there will be a plenary session with a clinical presentation and discussion. Candidates will then work in small groups with a moderator.
On Saturday, the small groups will continue to share experiences as candidates.
On Sunday morning, the last small group session will take place before a concluding plenary meeting.
We are pleased to offer the opportunity for 4 candidates from each of our societies to participate.
Registration fee is € 240,- including participation, accommodation with breakfast for 3 nights, and 2 dinners.
